How often do you work out each week? I’m not judging..lol. I’ve struggled with committing to working out. I’ve always been an all or nothing person. I want to go from not working out at all to working out everyday, overnight. For some of you, that may work but for me I had to become aware of my tendencies of all or nothing thinking. That tendency was setting me up for failure.
What could I commit to? What could get me closer to my goal yet make me desire to keep going and not quit prematurely. I decided that something, was better than nothing.

I can commit to 4 days a week. What i noticed is that committing to the 4 days a week sometimes led to me working-out more then 4 days and if for some reason I didn’t hit my 4, it wasn’t the end of the world. I just set my goal again for the next week and kept it moving. Having accountability partners is also a huge help. I just recently joined a group where we all pitched in money and will post each time we workout which will allow us an entry into a drawing. It’s really not about the money more than it’s a fun way to be held accountable. Making the decision to commit to a small change can lead to BIG rewards.
